So, I've found myself complaining a bit recently mostly due to the fact that our basement flooded the week before Thanksgiving because of a water heater snafu and that same week we received a foot of snow and a cold snap (picture included of our back yard). We've all been a bit stir-crazy and I'm feeling it.
However, there is much to be thankful for as insurance is covering our damage and we're going to end up with a much nicer basement in the end (I'm praying before baby 3 arrives).Plus we did still get to go visit family in South Dakota for the holiday and we made it in one piece after driving 600 miles through a blizzard on the way there. My brother brought home his awesome girlfriend and lots of extended family came up for the event which included a 35lb turkey raised on the farm next door and "harvested" just a few days prior.
I'm working on some kid updates as they have been so cute lately, but my office has been displaced so it's hard to get on the computer.
