First day of preschool

Bridger started preschool this week and was really excited (especially about his spiderman backpack). I went back and forth on this decision, but finally settled on sending him 3 mornings a week to a small church preschool near our house. He doesn't get any consistent Sunday School so this will take the place of that and also allow him some social and learning time away from home. I'm still planning on homeschooling, but I really wanted to see how Bridger would do with another teacher because he's very strong-willed.

He seems to like it, though he doesn't seem to love it, of course it's only been a few days. The first day he came home with a coloring page to color and then return. He told me,
"I'll color the page, but I don't need to bring it back, mom"
[me]: "But, you'll get a sticker by your name"
[Bridger]: "Why would I want a sticker?"

Good question. He's just not that motivated by stickers and clapping. Hopefully the teacher can adapt.
