The Tuesday outfit

Here is a picture of Bridger in his standard Tuesday outfit--Red Thomas shirt and orange swishies. Why Tuesday, you ask? I only do laundry on Mondays (except diapers, which have to be done all week) so everything is clean on Tuesday and Bridger picks out his own clothes, hence his favorite outfit. He had never even see the Thomas show until a few months ago when he thought it was too boring to even sit through, but somehow this is still his favorite shirt--the power of marketing...

My cousin gave me the heads-up on getting all laundry out of the way in one day and I really like it. Otherwise I feel like I'm constantly doing it. I've also adopted a "cleaning day" of the week as well--Thursdays. I do all the wood floors, vacuum, clean bathrooms, etc. in one shot. It's my least favorite day of the week, but at least things are clean for weekend guests and when I notice dust bunnies on Tuesday, I can relax because they'll be gone in a few days. Of course, with a 3-year-old boy's aim, a 9-month-old's enjoyment dropping his food and lots of playing in the yard, I do quite a bit of cleaning throughout the week too. I'm still trying to get the hang of taking care of a bigger place--anyone have any words of wisdom for me? Especially for big "spring cleaning" projects?
