Independence

It seems that the age of 3 brings more and more independence and exponential learning. Since his 3rd birthday Bridger has learned to dress and undress himself (choose his own clothing as well), make his bed, set the table and clear his own dishes after dinner, use the dustbuster to clean up under the table after meals, play a computer game, wash himself adequately in the tub, go overnight without a pull-up, and much more that I'm probably forgetting.

Right now we're working on wiping the bum (then all bathroom activities will be parent-less, though he will probably still feel the need to announce them after the fact), putting on shoes (not tie yet), and completely buckling his own carseat.

I do a double-take sometimes as he talks and acts like such a big boy these days. He says things like, "could you do me a favor and grab something from my father's office for me?" Can't wait for what comes next.
