Glad you found us!

Ryan has outfitted me with this new blog as apparently beta blogger is easier to fuss with than my previous blog interface (whatever that was). So, all new posts will be here from now on--glad you found me! The old blog http://sutherland3.blogspot.com/ will not be deleted and the archives will stay there if you ever get nostalgic :-) Please adjust your favorites for the new address and also don't forget to put your email address in the "subscribe" box to the right so you can receive emails when I post something new.
Here are some belated Thanksgiving photos. We had some new friends over--the Robbins. They have a little 16-month-old son who Bridger enjoys playing with. Here is the crew in the kitchen. Don't be fooled--the women did almost all the cooking. However, Ryan did do the dishes afterwards, as you can see (and this was a fairly big deal since we used the china, which can't go in the dishwasher). It's funny how quickly one adjusts to having a dishwasher!

It was such a blessing to have fun and fellowship for Thanksgiving. We even taught our new friends to play settlers in the evening. It was quite a slow game, but next time they'll be well-versed.
